Laser Welding Robot
This robotic laser welding workstation is comprised of a single robot body, laser, laser welding torch, wire feeder, water chiller, and electrical system. The robot system and software package incorporate laser welding technology, featuring robotic welding, automatic positioning, and automatic memory capabilities.
Compared with traditional welding equipment, the filler laser welding robot retains the advantages of laser welding such as “low heat input, small deformation, high speed and high efficiency”, while making up for the shortcomings of pure laser self-fusion welding such as “low gap tolerance and no filler in the weld”. At the same time, it avoids the defects of traditional gas shielded welding such as “low efficiency, large thermal deformation and extensive grinding of the weld”.
